Taylor is participating in the charitable event ‘The Hope For Haiti’ telethon that was organized by George Clooney. Other artists are also participating in this event. All proceeds go to the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The event will broadcast this Saturday (January 23) and will air on MTV at 12 pm EST so be sure to tune in.
When George Clooney teamed up with MTV for ‘The Hope For Haiti’ telethon he promised fans “a lot of great musicians.” And he wasn’t kidding.
So far the incredible line-up includes: Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Sting, Wyclef Jean, Bruce Spirngsteen and Stevie Wonder.
The two-hour global telethon, to be broadcast this Saturday (January 23) at midday (AEST), will be hosted by the Hollywood actor in Los Angeles, and former Fugees star Wyclef in New York. The songs will then be released onto iTunes the following day.
