NARM Artist Of The Year Award!

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RECORDING MERCHANDISERS will honor Taylor with an Artist Of The Year Award during their Awards Dinner Finale at the 2010 Convention on May 15th-17th at the Hilton Hotel in Chicago.

NARM will honor Taylor Swift, Big Machine Records, with our Artist Of The Year Award during the Awards Dinner Finale at the 2010 Convention. Swift, who debuted on the NARM stage at the UMGD Product Presentation in Chicago in 2007, joins the growing list of artists who have gone on to superstardom after appearing at NARM. This past year, she became the youngest artist ever to win both the CMA Entertainer of the Year and the Grammy Award for Album of the Year (and the first female solo Country artist ever to win the Grammy honor). Her 2009 release, “Fearless,” reached double-Platinum in just four weeks and was also voted 2009’s Album of the Year by both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. She is the top-selling digital artist in music history and had the number one best-selling album in any genre of music in 2009. “Fearless” was also the best-selling country album for both 2008 and 2009.
